"I appreciate the lightness of the material. The performance. The perfect protection against cold and wet. But also the powerful colors. The design. This is why I wear KJUS."
Lorraine Huber belongs to a small number of skiers in the world who have made the leap as professional athletes in freeride skiing. Raised in Lech am Arlberg in a family of ski instructors and only 100 meters from the ski lift, she began skiing off-piste at a very early age. At the age of 23 she completed her ski guide exam and founded the Freeride Center Sölden in Tirol, where she worked as a guide and director of freeride camps for 4 years.
Lorraine started competing in 2009 and placed 7th overall in the Freeride World Tour 2010, the world championship in freeriding. Her big goal is a good result at the Freeride World Tour, for which Lorraine trains 20 hours a week from May to December. Lorraine became an internationally recognized skier for her film segments with Warren Miller in 2010 and 2011.
Since May 2010, KJUS is Lorraine’s official skiwear outfitter. She supports the KJUS design team in the development of a new freeride line and coaches at the KJUS freeride events.
